How about creating a different type of paper plane? Here’s the small but mighty origami hammer plane! It’s slightly more complicated to make than the traditional paper plane, but still really easy.
Step 1: Start with a rectangular piece of A4 paper – any colour you wish your hammer plane to be!
Step 2: Fold the top right corner down towards the left side and press down
Step 3: Open up the paper
Step 4: Repeat step 2 by bringing the top left corner down towards the right side and press down
Step 5: Open the paper up and it should now look like this
Step 6: Fold in the top right corner diagonally down until it reaches the diagonal left crease. Press down.
Step 7: Repeat step 6 by folding the top left corner down diagonally until it reaches the diagonal right crease. Press down.
Step 8: Fold the left side over to meet the right
Step 9: Open the paper up
Step 10: Position the inner triangle so it is facing upwards
